How rules work
- Pick match fields yourself - soft/rigid and partners/CRM are configured independently.
- Supported stored types: char, text, many2one, selection, date/datetime, integer, float.
- Most fields need an exact match (123 is not 1234).
Soft char & CRM scope
- Soft char search uses ilike - agro can flag Agrolait, not the reverse.
- CRM: limit detection to opportunities only, leads only, or both.
- Partners: optionally only companies and stand-alone individuals (no parent).

Searches follow Odoo ORM limits: real-time checks scale with volume - e.g. 80 kanban cards against 10,000 leads means 80 searches.
- Slow customer/opportunity views? Turn off the duplicates counter for that view.
- Slow saves on partners or leads? Prefer soft rules and skip rigid ones when blocking is not required.
