How vendor stock is tracked
- Stock is recorded per vendor location (warehouse); assign an unlimited number of locations per supplier, each with its name, address, and average delivery time.
- Keep quantities in the vendor's unit of measure; the app converts them to your product's UoM (same category) so internal users always see familiar figures.
- A clear warning is shown if the vendor UoM and your product UoM belong to different categories.
Informational by design
- Vendor stock is fully independent of your Odoo warehouses - since you can't control a supplier's moves, there is no double-entry.
- Levels are updated manually by purchase managers or through the import, and used for information only.
- Especially valuable for make-to-order logistics and drop shipping, where availability at the source drives your decisions.

Import products & prices
- Upload vendor products and supplier prices from a ready-made Excel template shipped with the app.
- Optionally archive the vendor's previous products to fully replace an outdated catalog in one pass.
- Optionally mark previous prices as outdated to remove misleading figures.

- Upload vendor products and stock levels from a second predefined Excel template.
- Optionally archive previous products to swap in a fresh catalog for that supplier.
- Optionally flag previous stock levels as no longer correct to keep data fully current.
