We bought this to combine certain project tasks with the schedules of our maintenance engineers. We now have a better overview which moments are overlapping the schedules of other events. The joining of multiple events in 1 event calendar is super easy, it should be a standard option in ODOO.

Flexible rules to merge Odoo documents
To add a new document type for a shared interface you should set up a joint calendar rule. This rule defines which Odoo objects should create events, which fields of that object should be shown, and whether any filtering should take place

Model - which objects to scan: opportunities, tasks, orders, meetings, activities, and so on. You can choose your custom document type (including created in Odoo Studio) as well

Name - what to use as a joint event name (also used as calendar event title). Usually, it is 'name', 'subject' or 'reference'

Start date - when an event starts. For example, 'expecting closing' for opportunities or 'order date' for quotations. It may be any date or date with time field of a source Odoo object

Stop date - when an event is shown as finished on a calendar

Attendees - who are participants (responsible persons, event owners). Usually, it is a field 'assigned to', 'a sales person' or 'attendees'. You may use even document 'followers' since it's possible to apply both users and partners

Description - are there any notes important for joint events? Usually, the fields like 'internal notes' or 'comments' are used

Always Whole Day - means that all generated events would last the whole day disregarding whether start or stop are defined with hours and minutes. Such an event would be shown at a special place on a calendar (above the timeline)

Whole Day - a special boolean field of the source object which indicates that a related joint event may last the whole day. This setting is usually applied to standard Odoo calendar events which both might have a definite time indicated or might be planned for a whole day

Contact Link - is this event linked to a specific partner? Usually, the fields like 'customer' or 'vendor' are used

Company field - optionally define the parent document field where its company is kept. In this way, joint events would get the source company that might be used for filtering or just for information

Domain - the Odoo filters' constructor to include only topical documents into a joint calendar. You might apply any storable attribute. For example, show only quotations without sales orders, or show opportunities only for this sales team.
Multi companies compatibility

The app fully supports the multi-companies environment: each joint calendar might be linked to a specific Odoo company. If a company is not defined, it is considered as 'global', so available for all Odoo companies

Users access only those joint menus, which super calendars do not have a company or have one of those users available companies

Each joint rule might have the "Company field" defined. If that setting is configured, records will be filtered in a joint calendar company. For example, if you stated 'Company' as the 'Company field' for the tasks' rule, and the joint calendar is linked to 'San Fransisco' company, then users will see only San Fransisco or global tasks only

Joint events would also get the company based on the 'Company field' of the parent document. You can comfortably switch between objects of different companies using the right navigation filters

In addition to the 'Company field', you may also restrict records in a rule domain. For instance, to include records of a few companies but not to include others.

The tool lets you change the frequency of joint calendar refreshing and emails reminders' checks:
- Turn on the debug mode
- Go to technical settings > Automation > Scheduled jobs
- Find the job 'Refresh Joint Events' to change the frequency of super calendars' update
- Find the job 'Notify About Joint Event' to change the frequency of email alarms.

Co se stane, kdyz je "Always Whole Day" zapnuto/vypnuto?
Je-li "Always Whole Day" zapnuto, vsechny udalosti pravidla trvaji cely den, i kdyz zacatek a konec maji hodiny. Udalost je na specialnim miste kalendare.
Priklad: pravidlo pro "Sale Order" s "Always Whole Day" umisti udalost nad casovou osu v dennim a tydnim superkalendari.
Vypnete-li volbu a zacatek nebo konec maji hodiny/minuty, udalost bude v konkretnim case a cas bude pred nazvem.
Nevidim nabidku kalendare v Odoo. Co delat?
Overte:
1. Existuje alespon jeden nastaveny a obnoveny spolecny kalendar. Po nastaveni obnovte stranku.
2. Mate pristup alespon k jednomu kalendari.
Vytvoril jsem kalendare s pravidly, ale v nabidce je nevidim.
Duvodu muze byt vic. Souvisejici cron jeste nemusel probehnout: spuste ho rucne tlacitkem obnoveni v pravem sloupci rozhrani.
Zkontrolujte Time Limits: jinak jsou videt jen udalosti v intervalu. Priklad: kalendar 'Sale Orders' 10 dni pred a 30 po neukaze objednavku z pred 12 dny.
Ujistete se, ze pravidla nemaji filtry bez shody. Priklad: pravidlo 'Sale Order' s 'Customer = Deco Addict' ukaze jen objednavky tohoto zakaznika.
Kolik dokumentu Odoo (napr. prodejni objednavky, projekty, aktivity) mohu sloucit do jednoho spolecneho kalendare?
Do jednoho kalendare muzete sloucit libovolne mnoho dokumentu Odoo. Nebo je rozdelit mezi nekolik (napr. prodejni kalendar a projekty, ukoly a aktivity) a prepinat v systray.
Co je pravidlo spolecneho kalendare?
Pravidla urcuji, ktere objekty Odoo tvori udalosti, ktera pole pouzit a zda filtrovat.
V pravidle sami urcite nazev, zacatek nebo Stop date, ucastniky atd.
K cemu je pole "Stop date"? Mohu ho nechat prazdne?
Odoo Stop date je pole ciloveho modelu, ktere urcuje, kdy je udalost v kalendari dokoncena. Priklad: pravidlo pro "Sale Order" s "Delivery Date" ve Stop date ukaze udalost ode dne planovane nabidky (Start Date - Order Date) do dodani.
Pole je volitelne, muze zustat prazdne. Pak je udalost jen v den Start Date.
V kalendari mam typ "Undefined". Co to znamena?
Udalost byla vytvorena rucne: nema rodicovsky objekt ani pravidlo. Je pod filtrem "Undefined", bez barvy.
Vsichni s pristupem ke kalendari mohou vytvaret a videt udalosti Undefined.
Jaka jsou pravidla aktualizaci vasich nastroju?
Podle aktualnich pravidel Odoo Apps Store:
- Modul koupeny pro verzi 12.0 nebo starsi dava pristup ke vsem verzim az do 12.0.
- Od verze 13.0 se kazda verze modulu kupuje samostatne.
- Bez ohledu na verzi da nakup pravo na vsechny aktualizace a opravy v ramci hlavni verze.
Tym faOtools tato pravidla neridi. S otazkami se obratte primo na zastupce Odoo Apps Store.
Jak nainstaluji aplikaci na Odoo.sh?
Nejprimejsi postup je vestaveny tok obchodu Odoo:
1. Otevrete stranku modulu a kliknete na Deploy on odoo.sh
2. Budete presmerovani na GitHub. Prihlaste se a kliknete na Create a new repo nebo pouzijte existujici. Repozitar musi byt soukromy. Aplikace pod licenci OPL-1 nesmi byt verejne. V pripade potreby vytvorte nove repo pro projekt Odoo.sh
3. Pote v odoo.sh kliknete na Deploy, potvrdte a kliknete na Continue. Instalace se spusti.
Tyto kroky nainstaluji aplikaci na production vetev. Pro jine vetve nebo aktualizaci:
1. Stahnete zdrojovy kod z obchodu Odoo
2. Commitnete modul do GitHub repozitare. Zadna slozka/soubor aplikace nesmi byt v .gitignore. Repa vytvorena odoo.sh mohou ignorovat dulezite cesty (napr. /lib). Nahrajte vsechny adresare a soubory modulu
3. Deployujte cilovou vetev projektu odoo.sh, nebo pockejte na automaticky build, pokud to nastaveni predpoklada.
Jak nainstaluji aplikaci na vlastni server?
2. Restartujte server Odoo;
3. Zapnete vyvojovsky rezim (technicka nastaveni);
4. Aktualizujte seznam aplikaci (nabidka Aplikace);
5. Najdete aplikaci a kliknete na Activate/Install;
6. Postupujte podle pokynu na strance aplikace, pokud existuji.
Aplikace ma dalsi rozsireni. Mohu je koupit pozdeji?
Ano. Odoo automaticky prida zavislosti do kosiku: vylucte jiz zakoupene nastroje, abyste neplatili dvakrat.
Nasadil jsem aplikaci na Odoo.sh a v testech vidim varovani/chybu
Cervene/oranzove varovani neovlivnuje funkce aplikace. Nase moduly obcas neprojdou standardnimi automatickymi testy, protoze ty predpokladaji chovani, ktere je v rozporu s cili aplikace. Napriklad menime vypocet ceny, zatimco testy Odoo porovnavaji konecnou cenu se standardnim algoritmem.
Nejprve zkontrolujte funkce nasazene databaze. Funguje vse?
Pokud se stale domnivate, ze varovani ovlivnuje skutecne funkce, kontaktujte nas a poslete kompletni instalacni protokoly a uplny seznam nasazenych modulu (jadro a treti strany).
Mohu si aplikaci koupit primo u vas?
Ne, nastroje siritime pouze pres oficialni obchod aplikaci Odoo.
