Restricted Access and Secured Updates

To modify or remove messages, users must belong to the "Can edit and delete own messages" access group. In this way, you can restrict message editing/deleting, ensuring that discussions are protected from unauthorized changes

Admin 'Super Rights' Control

The app introduces the "Super Rights" access level. Users with the group "Can edit and delete any messages" can manage any comment, note, or activity feedback, regardless of who created it

Full Track of History

The app provides absolute transparency for every modification. Every time a message is updated, the tool keeps a full record of the changes:
* What changed: subject, body, or attachments added or removed
* Who and When: the user who made the change and the exact timestamp
* Visual Indicators: Modified messages are highlighted with a red label "edited". Click on the label to access the history with a single click

Persistent Data for Deleted Messages

Security and audit requirements often demand knowing what was removed from a system. Even when a message is deleted, its history of changes and original content are preserved.

You can check at any time not only that a message was removed, but also exactly what it contained and how it had evolved before deletion

Optional 'Full Mode' Editor

For users who need more than standard Odoo inline editing, this module offers the optional "Full Mode". When enabled, users will edit messages using the pop-up with the body (rich HTML editor), the subject, and the attachments field to add or delete files

Universal Integration

Editing and history tracking are available across the entire Odoo ecosystem: document threads, discuss app channels, and live chats. It equally works for comments, notes, and activity feedback. To avoid confusion and maintain a reliable audit trail, Odoo system notifications (such as automated stage changes) are purposefully excluded from editing.
