You may develop Odoo modules that use the Software as a library (typically by depending on it, importing it and using its resources), but without copying any source code or material from the Software. Para utilizar la aplicación debe adquirir una licencia válida en la tienda de aplicaciones Odoo. Se supone que se debe comprar una copia para cada base de datos de producción (la compra también otorga los derechos para instalar la aplicación para entornos de desarrollo y ensayo sin restricciones).
Está prohibido colocar el código fuente de las aplicaciones faOtools en lugares que permitan la descarga pública de su código fuente. En particular, está estrictamente prohibido agregar módulos a repositorios públicos GitHub (use repositorios privados en su lugar) .
Una licencia válida permite a cualquiera desarrollar sus propios módulos basados en módulos faOtools como biblioteca. Dichos módulos pueden distribuirse (venderse o publicarse), pero deben incluir la aplicación original en las dependencias (archivos __manifest__.py o __openerp__.py) y debe tener una licencia compatible. Al mismo tiempo, está prohibido modificar el código fuente de los módulos y compartir o vender dichas soluciones derivadas.
Los proveedores de Odoo deben evitar revender las aplicaciones a sus clientes. En su lugar, esos clientes deben adquirirlas directamente en la tienda de Odoo.
faOtools se reserva el derecho de aplicar cualquier acción legal (incluidas, entre otras, DMCA y otras políticas similares) sin previo aviso. Tenga en cuenta que violar las reglas de la licencia, con o sin intención, podría generar sanciones graves, indemnización por pérdidas reales y potenciales y sanciones en varias de sus cuentas (incluidas, entre otras, sanciones en sus cuentas Odoo.com y GitHub).
