The tool for real-time control of contacts' duplicates
This is an Odoo partner manager tool to exclude double work and broken communication through fore-handed exposure of duplicates of contacts: customers, suppliers, any Odoo partners.
Real-time search of duplicates
The tool detects duplicates for Odoo partners each time a document is opened or saved: on kanban, tree, and form views. It means that the search is done in real time and takes into account all recent changes
Soft and rigid duplicates
The tool lets you both strictly avoid duplicates and/or just warn of those. Use rigid criteria to fully exclude duplicates creation. Use soft criteria to only notify Odoo users of possible duplicates
Configurable duplicates' criteria
Duplicates are defined according to the rules which you set up. A rule is a field according to which an item is considered as a copy. For example, an email or a name. A customer is considered as a duplicate, if it satisfies any of criteria
Duplicates detection by storable fields
As a duplicate criteria use any stored field of the following types: char, text, many2one, selection, date and datetime, integer and float
Compatible with Odoo standard features
The module supports multi companies. Duplicates are searched within a certain company. Thus, there might be equal contacts related to different corporates. Found partners' duplicates might be merged through the standard Odoo merging tool
Smart partners' consideration
The tool lets restrict search only to companies and stand-alone individuals (without company). In such a case simple contacts would be excluded from duplicates detection.

Configurable duplicates criteria

Search criteria for rigid and soft duplicates are set up independently

As a duplicate criteria use any stored field of the following types: char (name, email, phone, mobile, etc.), text (descriptions), many2one (reference for a parent company or a related customer), selection (for instance, type), date and datetime (e.g. birthday), integer and float (any unique code or even planned revenue)

For all fields a duplicate should have absolutely the same value. For example, '123' equals '123', but '123' is not equal '1234'

Only for the case of soft search by char fields it is the operator 'ilike'. Thus, 'agro' is considered to be a potential duplicate of 'Agrolait' (but Agrolait is not considered as a duplicate of 'agro')

You may restrict search only for companies and stand-alone individuals. If the option is checked, Odoo will search only for and only among customers without a parent.
Performance issues
The tool is optimized to make searches as efficient as Odoo ORM allows it. Simultaneously, with a growing number of documents a search will become slower.
Since the search is done in real-time Odoo has to check all shown records for duplicates among all existing records. For example, when you open customers' kanban with 80 items, and you have 10,000 leads, the tool make 80 searches by your criteria among 10000 documents. It may result in slowdowns of the following operations:
- Opening kanban and list views of Odoo contacts
- Saving changes after update of partners.

According to the current Odoo Apps Store policies:
- every module bought for version 12.0 and prior gives you access to all versions up to 12.0.

The easiest approach is to use the Odoo store built-in workflow:
1. Open the module's page and click the button Deploy on odoo.sh
2. After that, you will be redirected to the GitHub page. Login to your account and click 'Create a new repo' or use the existing one. Please, make sure, that your repository is private. It is not permitted to publish the apps under the OPL-1 license. If necessary, create a new repo for your Odoo.sh project
3. Then, go to odoo.sh and click on the deploy button, submit the decision in the pop-up window and click 'Continue'. The action will trigger the installation process.
These steps will install the app for your project production branch. If you want to deploy the apps for other branches or update the module, you should undertake the following actions:
1. Upload the source code for the app from the Odoo store
2. Commit the module to a required GitHub repository. Make sure that none of the app folders/files are ignored (included in the .gitignore of your repo). Repositories are automatically created by odoo.sh, which might add by default some crucial items there (e.g. /lib). You should upload all module directories, subdirectories, and files without exceptions
3. Deploy a target branch of the odoo.sh project or wait until it is automatically built if your settings assume that.
Unzip the source code of the purchased tools in one of your Odoo add-ons' directories;
Re-start the Odoo server;
Turn on the developer mode (technical settings);
Update the apps' list (the apps' menu);
Find the app and push the button 'Install';
Follow the guidelines on the app's page if those exist.
Yes, sure. Take into account that Odoo automatically adds all dependencies to a cart. You should exclude previously purchased tools.
A red/orange warning itself does not influence features of the app. Regretfully, sometimes our modules do not pass standard automatic tests, since the latter assumes behavior which is in conflict with our apps goals. For example, we change price calculation, while standard Odoo module tests compare final price to standard algorithm.

Yes, all modules marked in dependencies are absolutely required for a correct work of our tool. Take into account that price marked on the app page already includes all necessary dependencies.
The price for our modules is set up in euros. The Odoo store converts prices in others currencies according to its internal exchange rate. Thus, the price in US Dollars may change, when exchange rate changes.
