You have logged a long note and suddenly understand that there is a mistake. Some mistakes, such as misprints, are just irritating. Others, such as commercial offer peculiarities, might have critical consequences since they mislead you or your colleagues. The proper solution is to update a current note but to keep a clear history of changes for referencing. The app is the tool to address this challenge.

Comfortable editing

That's really simple to modify messages: hover a message and push the 'pencil' button, introduce a change, and save it

The app lets modify messages' bodies, upload and delete attached files

History of changes

All updates are kept safe in clear and easy-reached history: reference original content and attachments whenever it's needed

Highlighted modifications

To avoid confusion all changed notes and messages are marked with a red sign

Secured updates

The right to edit messages belongs only to their authors. Simultaneously, the group "Message Editing/Deleting: Super Rights" may edit any messages disregarding their creators

Admin control

The user group 'Message Super Rights' may also delete any message and clear the history of changes through the menu "Technical Settings > Message Updates" (under the developer mode)

Messages, notes, activity feedback

The tool works for logged notes, sent messages (including live chats), and activity feedback. To avoid confusion, Odoo system notifications are purposefully forbidden to update

Editing will be available for all communication means: document threads, mail channels, direct discussion, live chats.
